Certified Payroll Specialist (Fresno, CA)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Certified Payroll Specialist with strong knowledge of Labor Compliance Program (LCP) tracking and prevailing wage requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate payroll reporting for public works projects and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with DIR and prevailing wage laws.

Utilize LCP Tracker or similar systems to upload and verify payroll data.

Review timecards, wage classifications, and fringe benefits for accuracy.

Maintain detailed records of payroll submissions and compliance documentation.

Communicate with project managers and subcontractors regarding payroll issues.

Stay current on labor compliance regulations and prevailing wage updates.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in certified payroll processing for public works projects.

Proficiency with LCP Tracker and related compliance platforms.

Strong understanding of California prevailing wage laws and DIR requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with construction or government contracts.

Familiarity with accounting software Viewpoint is a plus

Location: Fresno, CA

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

Pay Range:$25-28 DOE
